CNC MillerOxfordPermanent£18-20phCNC Miller required on a permanent basis to work for a specialist manufacturing business in Oxford. You will work with an established team, that work like a family! You will be able to assist our existing team in manufacturing a range of specialist parts and products.We are looking for a High level CNC Miller who has experience of setting, operating and programming. The knowledge of programming Heidenhein and Fanuc controls is key. You will be working on a range of very large and top level 5 axis CNC Machines, Mmachining of products required to meet strict tolerance and compliance.You will be working for one of the worlds best in what they do! within a purpose built state of the art factory that has had huge investment! You wont be thrown in at the deep end as there is lots of training and support. This role offers the opportunity to work on some highly specialist equipment and become one of a very few people in the UK with this experience.You will have a background of Setting and Operating CNC turning machines of a similar nature.
Using a variety of CNC equipment, produce components that comply with engineering drawings and other supporting documents.
Ensure any issues related to the quality of components, the machines or equipment are reported immediately to line management
Accurately record times taken against each operation, and in conjunction with Industrial Engineering team & the Machine Shop Manager feedback standard time variances.
Sign off production orders with relevant information to ensure compliance within the ISO 9001 quality management system.
Use initiative and propose ideas to improve quality, productivity, and cost performance.
