- Assisting the Senior Solar Project Manager in overseeing existing UK projects.
- Conducting technical tasks such as project documentation, design evaluations, and technical writing.
- Expanding our business and commercial endeavors in the UK, collaborating with our technical team in France and UK partners.
- While primarily technical, the role demands seamless client interaction and internal team coordination.
- Provide technical assistance to Owners across project phases.
- Oversee on-site construction activities, ensuring quality and timely completion.
- Manage internal costs to adhere to client-agreed budgets.
- Coordinate stakeholders involved in the project.
- Maintain project documentation and prepare technical reports.
- Engage in business development activities and represent the company at industry events.
- Prepare and support leads and proposals.
- Stay abreast of regulations and standards applicable to UK PV plants, suggesting optimizations to internal processes.
- Engineering graduate, preferably in electrical engineering; STEM qualifications also considered.
- Proficient in English; knowledge of French is advantageous.
- Experience in PV project development, construction, or operations.
- Familiarity with EPC and related contracts; experience in other construction activities valued.
- Strong engineering background, preferably in electrical, civil, or structural engineering.
- Project management certifications such as APM/PRINCE 2 highly regarded.
- Proficient in technical writing and preparing commercial offers.
- Knowledge of UK permitting for solar PV and energy storage projects.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to cater to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborative mindset for a multi-cultural and remote work environment.
- Meticulous attention to documentation, deadlines, and quality.
- Logical thinker, adept at contributing to workflow optimization.
- Efficient multitasker capable of managing multiple projects concurrently.
- Willingness to travel within the UK and to France (and potentially other European countries).
