Ward ManagerJob Type: Nursing and CareLocation: Mary Seacole House - Ward 2 (female acute)Salary: Band 7 Agenda for ChangeContract: PermanentAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Ward Manager on Ward 2, Mary Seacole House (female acute)The successful candidate should be a qualified Registered Nurse (RMN) and have significant experience at Band 6 or above within Acute setting.Main duties of the jobThe candidate should be able to participate with the multidisciplinary team and undertake direct involvement in patient care. You will also be expected to be able to manage and direct the delivery of clinical services within the unit, ensuring it complies with the statutory regulations, current legislation and meet the quality standards.The candidate must have proven leadership skills and clinical excellence as you will need to provide leadership and mentoring and will act as a positive role model for junior staff in a manner that positively reflects the philosophy of the service and the values of the organisation.
