We're looking for someone to fill a pivotal role as a Regulatory Legal Counsel within the vibrant legal department of a leading entity in the financial services industry. This position offers the chance to work closely with the Head of Legal, providing crucial legal support across various business lines including transactional banking, clearing, markets, leasing, commercial finance, and coverage. Your expertise will be instrumental in advising on a wide array of regulatory issues, contributing to the management of legal and reputational risks, and supporting the development of new products.Our client is seeking a common law qualified lawyer with substantial experience from a major national or internationally recognised law firm, ideally complemented by in-house legal experience within a UK financial institution. The ideal candidate will possess strong research, writing, and drafting skills, along with the ability to prepare clear and concise legal documents. Exceptional communication skills are essential for communicating proactively with the business.
