- Ensure that revenue from this portfolio is profitable and to expand business lines and service delivery where appropriate
- Manage and develop strong client relationships and win new business.
- Work collaboratively and pro-actively with internal teams to deliver client expectations in line with agreed client account plans
- Identify business opportunities from your client portfolio and your own network
- Provide a service compliant with all procedures and Mercer Code of Professional Conduct and the FCA
- Work with your assigned support team to ensure the delivery of services to each client in line with Mercer standards
- Financial and Commercial acumen (including fee negotiation skills)
- Good organisational skills
- Previous Healthcare and/or Protection related experience
- Proven consulting and relationship management skills
- Good technical, product and process knowledge
- Good inter-personal, communication and time management skills
- In-depth Healthcare and Protection knowledge
- Experience or knowledge of working with benefits platforms
- Strong attention to detail
- A natural desire to provide exceptional customer service
- In-depth knowledge of the industry and key themes affecting clients
