As a Network and Cloud Engineer, you’ll ensure secure, seamless communication across the organization by managing our network and security platforms in a hybrid environment. Working within the Network Operations team, you’ll oversee switching, routing, internet connectivity, firewalls, and Zero Trust solutions across multiple vendor technologies. This role is essential to supporting and protecting our growing infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:Balance project work and operational support as part of the technology operations team, collaborating to deliver high-quality results.Manage both on-premises and cloud environments, requiring strong expertise in network security, data center, campus, and cloud networking.Administer and troubleshoot SD-WAN, load balancers, DHCP, DNS, routing protocols, and web proxy platforms.Partner closely with InfoSec to ensure compliance with security best practices and regulatory requirements.Provide Level 2 and Level 3 network support within SLAs, owning incidents and delivering excellent service to internal and external customers.Lead proactive support efforts, including deploying patches, bug fixes, continuous improvements, and scheduled maintenance.Maintain detailed documentation of network designs, configurations, and troubleshooting processes for knowledge sharing and future reference.Experience, Skills & KnowledgeProven track record deploying and supporting network technologies in enterprise environments, ideally within financial services or regulated sectors.Hands-on experience with automation and monitoring tools.Skilled in configuring, managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting Cisco Nexus, firewalls, Meraki switches, and WiFi networks.Knowledge and experience with Zero Trust networking environments.Experience configuring, supporting, and maintaining monitoring solutions such as SolarWinds.Degree or equivalent qualification in a technical field.Network administration certification at CCNP level or equivalent.In-depth knowledge of firewalls and routing protocols, including BGP.Understanding of cloud environments, particularly Azure.Strong expertise in network load balancing.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly and keep stakeholders informed.Proven ability to manage relationships across diverse stakeholders, from technical teams to senior leadership.Strong decision-making skills with the ability to act quickly and effectively under pressure.DesirableExperience of configuring API-driven workflows and third-party system integrationsExperience of implementing infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform templates is desirableSkill with F5 Loadbalancers, Fortigate FirewallsCompany BenefitsA Competitive Salary, Pension Scheme and Life AssuranceAlong with 25 Days Annual Leave plus an Additional Day on us for your BirthdayPrivate Medical Cover and Income Protection, just in caseA generous and highly achievable bonus scheme – paid annually based on individual and company performance against targetsOpportunity to progress within your career both in-role and within the companyFREE access to the Headspace App, a 24/7 Employee Assistance Helpline and Trained Physical & Mental Health First Aiders (On-Site)A variety of Employee Funded Benefits available to you via our Online Benefits PortalPlus, several additional purchase options available for you and your loved onesWhy Just?At Just you’ll have the opportunity to develop your career, whilst making a difference to the lives of those around you.
