  • Working hours: 42 per week. 8am - 5pm. Monday - Friday only.

Our Client, an independent garage based in the Portsmouth, who has been established for just over 30 years are seeking an Experience Technician / Mechanic for their popular workshop. Our Client is a Bosch Car Service Agent and specialises within Diesel systems. They are ideally looking for a time served Technician looking to be put forward for their MOT trainingThey work with a varied range of both automotive products and some marine related equipment, for a variety of manufactures within automotive control systems. They have an enthuse of putting the customer first, and assisting them in finding cost-effective solutions to common issues.They provide a state of the art workshop with the latest test & service equipment, alongside many years of knowledge within the workshop team. This is an excellent place to work on a variety of equipment and develop your experience further.What's in it for you as a Vehicle Technician?
  • A Competitive Basic Salary - Basic Salary up to £37,000 Dependent on Experience

Duties of a Vehicle Technician with our Client:
  • Full automotive services and necessary repairs in accordance with company standards
  • Brake, clutch and timing belt changes / repairs
  • Engine and gearbox stripping and fitting
  • Diagnosing faults using computer hardware and software
  • Ensure the workshop standards are maintained at all times
What our Client expects of their Vehicle Technicians:
  • Previous Automotive Repair Experience
  • NVQ Level 3 Qualified or Equivalent, or time-served
  • A Methodical approach to vehicle repairs
  • Diesel systems experience would be beneficial but not essential
  • An Enthusiastic, Reliable, Friendly and Approachable Personality
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
