With a strong reputation for reliability and excellence, they are expanding their team to ensure they continue to meet the growing demand for their services.Job Description:I am seeking a skilled and experienced Service and Breakdown Gas Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a wide range of domestic gas appliances and heating systems. You will ensure that all work is carried out efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards, providing excellent customer service at all times.Duties will include:
  • Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on domestic gas appliances and heating systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot faults, providing effective and efficient solutions.
  • Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with current regulations and standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work completed, including parts used and work carried out.
  • Provide clear and concise communication to customers regarding work required and completed.
  • Attend emergency call-outs and breakdowns as required.
  • Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach at all times.
You will need:
  • Proven experience as a Gas Engineer, specifically in service and breakdown roles.
  • Relevant qualifications, including Gas Safe registration.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Flexible approach to working hours and willingness to participate in an on-call rota.
