CCTV, Intercom & Access Control Engineer | Covering London and the South East | Full Time | 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (08:00–17:00) | £27,000 - £40,000 D.O.E. Their services include a complete range of mechanical and electrical engineering and maintenance, security systems and software, and foodservice equipment services.They are seeking a skilled and motivated CCTV, Intercom & Access Control Engineer to join their growing Service & Maintenance team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading security systems provider, delivering high-quality support across London and the Southeast.Are you the right person for the job?
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in servicing and maintaining integrated security systems
  • Proven knowledge of CCTV (IP & analogue), Access Control, Intercoms, Alarms
  • Understanding of PC hardware, software platforms, IP networks, and switches
  • Experience with systems such as Avigilon, C-Cure, Lenel, Paxton, Hanwha, Milestone, Honeywell, Urmet, Commend, Texecom, and others is highly desirable
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to liaise with technical and non-technical clients
  • City & Guilds or NVQ in Electronic Engineering (or equivalent) preferred
  • Competent in using laptops, commissioning software, and service documentation tools
  • Must have own hand tools (all other tools will be supplied)
  • High attention to detail and excellent troubleshooting ability
  • Strong time management and organisation skills
  • Positive, can-do attitude with a commitment to quality service
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team
What will your role look like?
  • Perform planned maintenance on CCTV, Access Control, and Intercom systems at client sites
  • Diagnose and repair faults, ensuring minimal disruption and excellent service delivery
  • Participate in an on-call rota to provide out-of-hours emergency support
  • Work in accordance with NSI, health & safety, and internal service procedures
  • Maintain and manage van stock levels and ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and presentable
  • Use company IT systems and software to complete documentation and reports accurately
  • Attend monthly service department meetings and contribute to team performance

  • Time-and-a-half or double time for callouts
  • £27,000 - £40,000 basic salary (D.O.E.)
  • £32,000 - £54,000 total earnings with travel
  • 22 days’ annual leave (increasing to 26 with service) + 8 bank holidays
  • Holiday pay reflects average weekly hours worked (not just 40 hours)
