
Business Development Manager

- Achieve and exceed annual revenue targets across retail, trade, and export channels
- Proactively develop new business leads and follow them through to sale
- Manage and grow relationships with existing trade partners and distributors
- Identify and pursue export opportunities
- Input into strategic direction, planning, pricing strategy and agree discounts within agreed parameters
- Provide day-to-day line management, guidance, and support to the Sales Administrator / Customer Service team member
- Proven track record in field sales, ideally within blinds, home improvement, building products, or a related sector
- Experience dealing with trade and retail customers, international sales experience would be desired but not essential
- Strong business development skills and the ability to close high-value deals
- Confident managing your own pipeline while being accountable for overall sales targets
- Commercially astute, with an understanding of margins and profitability
- Comfortable working in a small, hands-on team environment
- Experienced in supporting and managing one team member alongside your own responsibilities
- Willing to travel within the UK and overseas as required
- Self-motivated and proactive with bold ideas, and able to work with minimal supervision
- Base salary between £40,000 - £45,000, dependent on experience
- Commission/bonus scheme providing a realistic OTE between £50,000 - £60,000
