- Working collaboratively and interfacing with internal and external engineering design & construction teams.
- Develop, manage, and update the AJV Interface Register.
- Assist in producing Interface Give-Get Forms, Request for Information (RFI) and Interface Control Documents (ICD).
- Arrange, attend, and participate in internal and external interface meetings.
- Review reports, drawings, and design calculations as part of the interface process.
- Take ownership and resolve interface queries from other interfacing parties.
- Track all incoming and outgoing interface documentation, ensuring all team members and subcontractors are duly notified.
- Work as part of a team with all AJV engineering disciplines to review design proposals from interfacing parties, assessing the impact, providing comments, confirming acceptance, and managing integration.
- Serve as technical representative at interface meetings on civils, MEPHFC, and rail systems enquiries.
- Responsible for interfacing with disciplines such as: Telecoms, BEMS, Electrical Distribution, Ventilation, Public Health, OCS, Earthing & Bonding, Civils, Structure, and Architecture.
- Assist in preparing and delivering weekly and monthly reports on interface status and KPIs.
- Assist in managing Station MEPHFC Systems Interface and Integration for design & construction.
- Manage relationships within Anthro, with other sub-contractors, and the Client.
- Educated to degree level in a relevant field e.g., BEng in Electrical or Mechanical or Civil Engineering etc. or equivalent e.g. HND/HNC etc.
- Up to 5 to 8yrs experience of multi-disciplinary engineering in an environment with multiple complex interfaces.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
- Quality focused with a methodical working style and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management & ability to prioritise.
- Adaptability in a dynamic environment with a proactive, ‘can-do’ attitude.
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Experience of working in the railway industry including relevant UK legislation and standards.
- Incorporated Engineer (IEng) and/or working towards Chartership (CEng) of a related institution e.g. IET, IMechE or ICE etc.
- Technical expertise in at least one of the System’s Disciplines i.e. Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services, Civils etc and have a good working knowledge of the others and the integrated Railway System.
- Knowledge of working with Software such as BIM, CAD, etc.
- Desirable experience of working in a complex, safety focussed and regulated environment such High-Speed railway and major projects.
