A superb UK Financial Controller role has arisen in a leading, global FMCG business in Greenford, West LondonThe UK Financial Controller will be responsible for:
  • Manage the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor and evaluate financial performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, managing tax filings and audits.
  • Supervise accounts payable and receivable functions to maintain cash flow efficiency.
  • Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights and recommendations.
  • Lead and develop the accounting team, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Implement and enhance internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Global FMCG CompanyHybrid - 2 days in office per weekA successful UK Financial Controller should have:
  • A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in FMCG/Manufacturing industries.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and familiarity with relevant financial systems.
  • Ability to analyse complex financial data and present actionable insights.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor a finance team.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining compliance standards.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

The business has navigated the market with agility and bringing new products to market.The UK Financial Controller role comes with a competitive base salary of £65,000-£70,000, £6,900 car allowance and 15% Bonus. You will also receive other corporate benefits and hybrid working of 2 days per week in the office.
