We are seeking Specialist Teaching Assistants to support children and young people with a wide range of additional needs, including:Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)Severe/Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (SEN/PMLD)Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)Communication & Interaction NeedsComplex Medical NeedsYou will work on a 1:1 basis and with small groups, supporting pupils in both classroom and specialist settings.Key Responsibilities:Deliver high-quality support to pupils with diverse needs.Implement tailored strategies to promote engagement, progress, and independence.Support behaviour management using positive and proactive approaches.Provide personal care and support with moving & handling (training provided if required).Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and wider school staff.Requirements:✅ Previous experience working with children/young people with SEN
✅ Confidence supporting pupils with SEMH, ASC, and/or complex needs
✅ Willingness to provide personal care and moving/handling support
✅ Full UK driving licence and access to transport (desirable due to school locations)
✅ Must hold (or be willing to apply for) an Enhanced DBS

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
