Pipe Fitter Needed in Manchester:
  • Location: Manchester
  • Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 07:00-16:30; Friday, 07:00-15:30 (44 hours per week, flexibility given and required)
  • Salary: £19-£23 per hour
  • Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Our client, a leading specialist in vehicle conversions and coach building, is looking for an experienced and passionate Pipe Fitter to join their expanding Manchester-based team. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive company that prioritises its people and promotes a respectful, rewarding, and reliable working culture.Key Responsibilities for the Pipe Fitter:
  • Measure and mark pipes for cutting, threading, and welding
  • Thread and bend pipes by hand or using machines
  • Repair systems using various welding and plumbing techniques
  • Attach pipework securely to structures and eliminate water ingress
  • Seal routes of pipework and check for leaks or weak joints
  • Carry out welding, soldering, brazing, and fusing of pipework
  • Read and interpret drawings/specs to plan and install piping systems in vehicles
  • Perform testing on completed work to ensure quality and compliance
What We're Looking For from the Pipe Fitter:
  • Previous experience as a Mechanical or Pipe Fitter
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Own transportation or reliable access to site
  • A positive attitude aligned with company values: Respectful, Rewarding, Reliable
