  • Work directly with children and families, ensuring safeguarding and wellbeing
  • Carry out Child & Family Assessments with clear analysis, planning, and review
  • Support children and families through Child in Need, Child Protection, pre-proceedings, and court work
  • Partner with agencies including health, education, and police to deliver the best outcomes
  • Promote sustainable change by connecting families to Integrated Prevention & Early Help services
  • Maintain a manageable caseload within a collaborative team environment
๐Ÿ‘ค About You:
We're looking for social workers who are:
  • Registered with Social Work England
  • 3+ years post-qualified experience in safeguarding, child protection, or children in need
  • Confident in using the latest legislation including the Children Act, Working Together to Safeguard Children, and relevant statutory guidance
  • Skilled in building meaningful relationships with children and families
  • Adaptable, forward-thinking, and committed to high standards
  • Experienced in working within multi-agency teams and managing complex cases
  • Able to communicate and negotiate effectively on behalf of children and families

  • Conduct risk and needs assessments under the Care Act and related legislation
  • Manage a varied caseload with autonomy and professionalism
  • Develop tailored care plans that respect diversity and promote empowerment
  • Use reflective practice and evidence-based approaches to inform interventions
  • Contribute positively to a culture of continuous improvement
