You’ll help secure new contracts that create meaningful, lasting impact in communities across the UK.Key ResponsibilitiesAs Bid Writer, you will:
- Produce high scoring bid content in line with tender evaluation guidance/scoring matrix that clearly articulates the benefits of solution to meet specific client and commissioner needs.
- Actively seek out high quality content from internal colleagues to constantly improve bid submissions as part of a commitment to continuous improvement
- Coordinate input from internal stakeholders, including subject matter experts and operational teams, to ensure that bids are well-informed and compelling.
- Work closely with the Bid Manager and Solution Manager to support with bid management activity, internal meetings and development of solution and win themes
- Adapt and refresh existing content within the bid resource bank to improve the quality of bids
- Actively seek feedback on successful and unsuccessful submissions to inform future bids and improve overall quality of responses
- Keep abreast of industry developments and competitor activity to ensure that bids are competitive and aligned with market trends.
- Support with the delivery of presentations and attending face-to-face meetings with clients (where required).
- Attend networking and forum events to generate potential new contacts and business.
- Proven track record writing successful bids—especially in public sector services
- Excellent written communication and editorial skills
- Experience working under pressure to tight deadlines
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
- Highly organised with great time management
- Experience in employability, skills, justice, health or wellbeing bids
- Social Value response writing
- Project management experience
