- Develop and implement strategic new business development plans to expand our client's presence across multiple sectors.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, lead generation, and networking.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and seeking opportunities for up selling and cross-selling.
- Collaborate with the product development team to stay informed about new technical textile technologies and industry trends.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients, showcasing the benefits of our filtration fabrication textiles.
- Negotiate and close business deals, ensuring favourable terms for both the client and the company.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and delivery.
- Keep abreast of competitor's activities and market trends to maintain a competitive edge.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the company.
- Results-driven with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding new business sales targets.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Proven experience as a Business Development Manager, growing new business sales for Technical Products into multiple markets such as Manufacturing, Engineering, Automotive, Aerospace, Defence etc.
- Ability, and desire, to rapidly develop an in-depth understanding of the technical attributes of the specific textiles manufactured by our Client, and an enthusiasm to understand prospective customer needs
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
