SEN Teacher - Make a Real Difference in WhittleseyLocation: Whittlesey and surrounding areas
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Term-Time Only)
Hours: 9:00 am - 4:30 pm (flexible working available)
Pay: £30-£35 per hour (PAYE - case dependent)
Role Type: One-to-One Teaching for students with SEN, SEMH, SEMD, and medical needsAbout the RoleAre you an experienced teacher who thrives on helping students overcome barriers to learning?
We are looking for skilled and compassionate SEN Teachers to provide one-to-one support for children and young people with a range of additional needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to deliver personalised education that truly changes lives.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild Trusting Relationships: Create a calm, consistent environment where students feel safe and supported.Tailor Learning Approaches: Design and deliver individualised lesson plans that reflect each learner's unique profile.Collaborate with Families: Work closely with parents and carers to ensure continuity of support and progress.Promote Confidence and Achievement: Deliver lessons that encourage academic success and emotional resilience.Model Positive Behaviour: Set a strong example through professionalism, empathy, and encouragement.What We're Looking ForQualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (PGCE)Minimum of two years' teaching experienceStrong subject knowledge in Maths, English, and Science (UK curriculum)Experience teaching across Key Stages 1 to 4Excellent communication skills and a background in SEN educationEnhanced DBS registered on the Update ServiceLegal right to work in the UKSound understanding of safeguarding responsibilitiesWhy Work with Sugarman Health and Wellbeing?At Sugarman, we believe in the power of education to transform lives.
