
Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFI) Relationship Manager - Insurance

- Manage a portfolio of existing insurance and NBFI client relationships and develop cross-selling of the Bank's products and services
- Be responsible for originating and onboarding new to Bank insurance and NBFI clients and the day-to-day risk management, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), regulatory and legal compliance management. Be accountable and responsible as first line of defence (1LoD) for pre-closing, closing and post-lending monitoring
- Coordinate with internal business departments and product managers to deliver high-quality service and product coverage to Financial Institutions (FI) clients
- Collaborate with FI Head office and overseas branches to bolster the growth of London Branch’s FI client base
- Provide credit and business proposals as well as reviews
- Perform ad-hoc duties and reports as required
- Carry out the Bank’s strategies and business objectives
- Ensure compliance with local jurisdiction, regulatory and legal requirements, and adhere to the Bank's policies and procedures in all client marketing activities
- Degree educated in Finance, Economics, Business or other relevant subject
- Prior experience working within Banking sector is preferred
- Experience in originating, structuring and risk management of a portfolio of insurance clients/transactions
- Experience with Lloyd’s of London and the Tier I and Tier II Capital structure and products
- Experience in the UK, USA, Bermuda markets, coupled with a solid network across the insurance industry, is preferred
- Experience with RCF, Loan, LCs and counterparty credit lines with Insurance Clients
- Excellent analytical and credit skills essential for transaction origination, structuring and execution of financing solutions tailored for insurance clients
- Broad knowledge and understanding of insurance industry regulatory requirements and financial products, including Transaction Banking, Trade Finance, Risk Participations and Financial Market products
- Excellent communication skills with ability to work with different types of internal and external stakeholders
- Proficient in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
