Futures Manufacturing are recruiting for a Night Shift FLT Driver to join a busy and growing manufacturing business that values safety, teamwork, and efficiency. If you have a valid FLT licence and experience operating in a fast-paced industrial environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.You’ll play a key role in keeping the factory running smoothly—moving raw materials, supporting production, and handling finished goods with care and precision. You’ll also operate overhead cranes (full training provided if needed) and help maintain a clean, organised warehouse and yard.Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate Counterbalance and/or Reach Forklift Trucks throughout the night shift.
  • Use overhead cranes to move heavy or large items (experience preferred but not essential).
  • Load and unload materials from delivery vehicles with care and accuracy.
  • Supply production lines with materials and remove finished products for dispatch or storage.
  • Carry out routine equipment safety checks and report any issues promptly.
  • Use handheld scanners or simple paperwork to track stock movement.
  • Keep the warehouse and yard areas clean, safe, and well-organised.
  • Pitch in to help other departments when needed—teamwork is key here.
Skills:
  • A valid FLT licence – Counterbalance and/or Reach.
  • Overhead crane experience (or certification) is highly desirable.
  • At least 2 years’ experience working in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Comfortable working night shifts independently and maintaining high standards.
  • A strong awareness of Health & Safety best practices.
  • Physically fit and able to handle some manual work.
  • Team player with a proactive attitude.
