- Management of customer accounts in respect of contractual commitments (SLA, commercial pricing, and negotiation).
- Development of customers’ accounts with a focus on cost efficiency and profit-oriented management of tenders.
- Developing existing and new sales leads through f2f meetings and maintaining a “lead diary”
- Provide a “hunter” mentality towards new business opportunities across all UK business scopes (transport, compound, new & used vehicles)
- Drive new project opportunities and negotiate with relevant suppliers and customers as necessary with the Head of Sales
- Budgeting and margin analysis contributions in conjunction with relevant departments and colleagues.
- Monitoring the implementation of services in accordance with the specification; develop KPI coordination within internal departments
- Coordination of subcontractor activities; commercial proposals/negotiations
- Construction and/or assistance of the sales prices for UK services
- Construction and management of UK Development Budget (in conjunction with Head of Sales & Sales & another department leads)
- Participation in UK activity tenders
- Development of internal data sharing in conjunction with Groupe colleagues
- Implementation of competitive intelligence on the logistics market o Identification of potential markets and new products
- Development of promotional materials in conjunction with UK personnel & Groupe Marketing Manager
- Responsible for the quality of the work performed in accordance with the clients' requirements and with CAT internal requirements.
- Must apply all of the safety & security procedures and rules defined in the action plans emanating from the Company-Wide Policy
- Degree or HND equivalent qualification
- Experience in the finished vehicle logistics market is preferable
- Good level of insight in KPI management, management by results and processes, or ability to rapidly assimilate this.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, as a user.
- Knowledge of, and experience using, bespoke manufacturing/sales, logistics and reporting IT systems.
- Good knowledge and practical usage of MS Powerpoint: construction and delivery of presentation material, internal and external
- Experience in successfully managing projects through the use of third parties. •
- Excellent written and spoken English - French would be an advantage, but not essential
- Excellent communication skills, “on the ground”, with clients at multiple levels.
