- Perform both planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of mechanical and electrical building services, this includes general maintenance and inspections, as well as addressing immediate faults and defects.
- Performing routine preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical plant.
- Responding to and completing reactive maintenance tasks.
- Carrying out legionella control and monitoring activities.
- Using CAFM systems to manage and close out work tickets.
- Working with subcontractors, ensuring their work is monitored and carried out to a high standard.
- Preparing and using method statements and risk assessments for all tasks.
- Participating in an out-of-hours call-out rota.
- The ideal candidate will have around five years of experience as a mechanical engineer in a facilities management environment.
- Must hold a City and Guilds - Mechanical Engineering Services NVQ Level 2 or higher.
- Must hold a full, clean UK driving licence.
- Excellent communication, IT, and report-writing skills are essential for this role, as you'll be dealing with various staff, clients, and subcontractors.
- Must pass a DBS check.
