In this role, you will teach a diverse range of design, engineering, and technological concepts, providing students with hands-on learning experiences that prepare them for the future.Responsibilities as a Design Technology Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging and high-quality Design Technology lessons that meet curriculum requirements.
- Teach students the fundamentals of design, technology, and engineering processes, including CAD, electronics, and materials.
- Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and critical thinking.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to guide improvement.
- Support students' practical work and project-based learning.
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
- Strong subject knowledge and experience in teaching Design Technology at school level.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to inspire students in creative and technical subjects.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- A valid, enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
