We’re looking for a General Maintenance Operative to join our busy facilities team. This is a varied role where no two days are the same – one day you could be repairing or decorating, the next supporting a new site set-up or carrying out seasonal garden maintenance.Based from our head office in Chesterfield, you’ll travel to sites across the U.K. to keep our properties well maintained, safe, and looking their best. Some overnight stays will be required.What you’ll be doing:Carrying out a wide range of repairs, maintenance, and decorating tasksSupporting new service centre openings with set-up and preparationLooking after tools and equipment to ensure they’re in top conditionCompleting basic garden maintenance throughout the yearUndertaking health & safety compliance checksWorking directly with staff and customers, delivering excellent service at all timesWhat we’re looking for:A full U.K. driving licenceExperience in general maintenance, repairs, and decoratingSkills in carpentry, plumbing or other trades are desirableSomeone proactive, organised, and confident working independentlyA positive attitude with strong problem-solving skillsThis role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys variety, and can deliver high-quality results while on the move.
