Contract: Permanent, Full-TimeAbout the RoleWe are working with a privately owned new build housing developer based in West Cornwall to recruit an experienced Groundworks Foreman.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable house builder on a permanent basis, overseeing a wide range of groundworks activities including roads, sewers, and adoptions.The successful candidate will manage and support a small team while remaining hands-on to ensure smooth project delivery.Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a small groundworks team on new build housing developments
- Carry out hands-on groundworks tasks where required
- Oversee the construction of roads, sewers, drainage, and site infrastructure
- Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification
- Liaise with site management, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Maintain compliance with health & safety standards and regulations
- Proven experience in groundworks within new build housing developments
- Strong knowledge of roads, sewers, drainage, and adoptions
- Ability to manage and motivate a small team while remaining hands-on
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Relevant site qualifications (e.g. SSSTS, CSCS) desirable
- Based in or willing to commute to West Cornwall
- £55,000 - £60,000 per annum
