- Understanding of the benefit of group settings and activities for people living with dementia
- Safeguarding vulnerable adults

- Experience of working with people living with dementia and/or their carers
- Delivering activities within a group setting
- Ability to proficiently use standard IT systems – Microsoft Office/Word/Excel, client database entry and management.
- Day to day co-ordination of the group provision including but not exclusive to; activity planning and delivery, organising refreshment provision and regular communication with group members and venues.
- Co-ordination of volunteers, ensuring arrangements are in place for their recruitment and training. Providing support and ensuring the value of volunteers within each group.
- Delivering a high-quality activity plan at groups, in line with best practice and feedback from attendees.
- Involvement in general administrative duties including data entry for the RVS Management Information Systems.
- Participate in local Fundraising for Royal Voluntary Service as agreed with Service Manager and Operations Manager.
- Assisting Service Manager to ensuring compliance with statutory standards, policies and procedures e.g. Health and Safety, Food Hygiene, Data Protection and Safeguarding.
- To undertake any other reasonable duties in line with the purpose and remit of the post and agreed with the Service Manager.
