Innovating in the energy industry, our subsea and surface pressure capabilities are industry leading.Partner with the bestThe Lead Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for providing “end to end” procurement support for a given set of "complex" direct materials or services. They will be required to apply sourcing policies, interface between supplier, entity, and internal stakeholders with respect to specifications, budgets, and schedules. The Lead Sourcing Specialist will also support the Regional Procurement Leader with team KPI’s, procurement initiatives and operational objectives.As a Lead Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for:
  • Obtaining quotes, place and follow-up on POs.
  • Managing relationships with suppliers for PO execution. Manage problems and schedule changes. Updating ERP and internal stake holders.
  • Defining and improving sourcing strategies at business or plant level. May also include communication management to regional business teams.
  • Developing and distributing departmental reports to support with internal KPIs and operational schedules.
  • Managing relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders for PO execution and budget savings.
  • Managing problems and communicating changes where required.
  • Supporting Regional Procurement Leader with department resource planning and strategic initiatives.
  • Supporting with delegating tasks and setting priorities for the team when required.
  • Supporting with department training including process, systems, and onboarding.
  • Advising Functional managers or other Functions regarding approaches, process, and procedures in their own field.
  • Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about approach and methods for solving complex problems.
  • Contributing to project as a team member or leads small projects. Work goals typically take 3-6 months to complete and the time horizon for results/impact is typically 2-12 months after the event.
Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:
  • Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Demonstrate proven experience in Sourcing / Procurement.
  • have experience with ERP Systems ie SAP, Oracle etc
  • Have strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Have strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Be able to lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
  • Have the ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
