Key responsibilities include:
- Stock Control & Management: Oversee and manage stock levels, deliveries, returns, and ensure accurate records.
- Equipment Asset Register: Maintain and update the equipment asset register, ensuring all tools and machinery are tracked effectively. Regular auditing and maintenance checks on operational equipment
- Compliance Checks: Conduct regular ladder, PPE, and harness checks (training provided), as well as vehicle checks, MOTs, and maintenance upkeep.
- Inventory Management: Keep a detailed record of stock shortages and spares and ensure the regular update of inventory management systems.
- Vehicle and Maintenance Checks: Ensure that company vehicles are regularly checked for maintenance, MOTs and upkeep and ready for deployment. Carry out van stock checks.
- Experience: Ideally, you'll have previous experience in a store, stockroom, or warehouse environment. Experience managing staff is an advantage.
- Technical: A good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and database management is beneficial.
- Attention to Detail: You must be diligent with record-keeping and highly organised.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate between staff and report to directors efficiently.
- Driving License: Full clean driving license (C1 class vehicle is desirable).
