Teaching Personnel are currently working with a secondary school based in Congleton who are looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant to start within their SEN department as soon as possible. This is a great opportunity for an individual who has a strong background in SEN but looking to gain further experience within a school environment.About the role:

  • Long-term, full-time opportunity
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the SENCO and other support staff to ensure that all students needs are met. You will create and implement individualised support plans for students who require additional learning and emotional support. This will involve 1-1 and small group support; adapting learning materials and resources, making them accessible to all.What we’re looking for:
  • Strong background with SEN (ASD, ADHD and mental health difficulties)
  • Experience working with young people (in any setting)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both students and staff
  • A genuine passion for working with SEN students and improving their learning experience
  • Safeguarding training to be completed upon registering with Teaching Personnel

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
