Are you looking to take on a new and exciting challenge in your fostering career?We are looking for experienced foster carers to become part of our new Fostering Hub Home.Our 'first of its kind' Foster Hub Home launched in March 2025.Children (aged 9-15) will move to the Foster Hub Home for a period of 3 - 6 months where interventions / programmes of work will take place in partnership with the matched foster carers.Children will move to their new foster placement and remain linked to the Foster Hub Home for the duration of the placement.We are always looking for new carers to be a part of this ground breaking modelOur package to Foster Hub Home carers:
  • Payment at Level 4
  • Sleepovers for respite care, planned and
unplanned * Telephone support and outreach
  • Rewarding, ensuring children have family
placements * A comprehensive training package alongsidethe residential workers * Support network for the entirety of placement
  • Build a relationship with the child 3 - 6 months
before the transition * Use of the hub including meeting room,education room, sensory room and training
kitchenIn addition to the support provided by the hub home and hub home staff, Foster carers matched with children in the hub will continue to benefit from a package of Supervision and Support from the Fostering Team.This includes:
  • Regular and robust supervision with their named Supervising Social Worker
  • Additional support visits and calls whenever needed
  • Access to a Fostering Duty worker during office hours and access to out of hours telephone support if needed
  • A named experienced 'Foster carer buddy' to provide mentoring and advice from carer to carer
  • Access to a varied Foster Carer training offer
  • Access to 7 different Foster Carer support groups across the district and a online support group
  • A competitive financial offer and free access to Independent Foster Carer Support Service Foster Talk
