- Manage and negotiate large commercial accounts, delivering market-leading underwriting propositions
- Support brokers in achieving strong underwriting results and profitable growth
- Build and maintain effective relationships, providing coaching and technical guidance
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless portfolio management
- Visit broking panel regularly across the South East to provide hands-on underwriting support
- Manage a portfolio of commercial combined risks, handling complex cases
- Plan and balance visits with home-based responsibilities
- Complete an initial training period focused on developing technical knowledge
- Engage in ongoing professional development
- Proven commercial underwriting experience with complex and technical case management
- Ability to coach and build strong relationships with brokers and stakeholders
- Experience with commercial combined risks and principal accounts preferred
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with confidence to influence decisions
- Effective negotiation and commercial awareness
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
