We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical project Manager to oversee the mechanical installation on a commercial project, with a specific focus on delivering high standards of site coordination, health & safety compliance, and subcontractor management.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate all on-site Mechanical subcontractors, including:
  • Pipefitters
  • Air Conditioning Engineers
  • Duct fitters
  • Medical Gas
  • Plumbers
  • Conduct site inductions for all mechanical operatives.
  • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations at all times.
  • Liaise directly with the Main Contractor, maintaining clear communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor and drive progress on mechanical works to meet project timelines.
  • Quality control checks and problem-solving during installation phases.
Essential Requirements:
  • Valid SMSTS certificate
  • Valid CSCS card
  • Previous experience working on medical or healthcare-related projects.
  • Proven track record managing Mechanical trades onsite.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
Contract Details:
  • Duration: 2-3 months
  • Day rate - £300-£340 - CIS
  • Project Type: Commercial, with medical elements
  • Hours: Full-time site-based role
  • Location: Birmingham
