Job Details:Job Reference: HCC622115Salary Range: £33,178 - £36,369 pro-rata, per annumWork Location: X-perience Young Persons Centre, FarehamHours per week: Full time and part time roles availableContract Type: Temporary until 31 August 2026Closing Date: 11 September 2025Interview Date: 17 September 2025The Role:Hampshire Futures is part of the Participation & Lifelong Learning service, within Hampshire County Council's Children's Services Directorate.This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, highly motivated and talented person to join our team in the Hampshire Futures service, supporting our statutory NEET (Not in Education, Employment and Training) duties.There are 2.4 full time/ part time posts to support short-term project work and maternity cover. Applications for job share arrangements are welcome and will be considered.What you'll do:The postholder will provide impartial, personalised advice and guidance tailored to individual needs, helping them to explore opportunities, understand pathways, and overcome barriers in a one to one and group work format. This includes working collaboratively with schools, colleges, training providers, employers, and support services to ensure young people have access to accurate information and meaningful experiences that enhance their career readiness and participation.What we're looking for:This key position requires extensive experience of working with young people, including those with SEND and those facing additional challenges. You will be responsible for preventing young people from becoming NEET and supporting those who are NEET into positive destinations. The role demands a proven ability to plan and deliver engaging group work that promotes personal development and progression.
