In this role, you'll be supporting children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. No two days will be the same, but every day you'll have the chance to encourage, guide, and celebrate progress-both big and small. What you'll be doing: Supporting pupils one-to-one and in small groups, helping them feel calm, engaged, and ready to learn Using strategies that promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing Working closely with teachers, pastoral staff, and therapists to put personalised plans into action Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils so they feel supported and understood Helping create a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment where children can thrive What we're looking for: Experience or a real passion for supporting children with SEMH or additional needs A calm and proactive approach, with plenty of patience and resilience Strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude A genuine interest in helping children develop confidence, resilience, and independence Previous experience in specialist or therapeutic settings is helpful but not essential-training will be provided About the school: This is an Outstanding specialist provision where children with SEMH, Autism, and ADHD are supported through a nurturing, therapeutic approach.
