🕒 Start Date: September 2025Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant with a Level 3 qualification and a passion for supporting children with behavioural needs?A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Rochdale, rated 'Good' by Ofsted, is seeking a dedicated and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child in Key Stage 1 who presents with challenging behaviour. This is a full-time, term-time role ideally suited to someone with strong behaviour management skills, a calm and consistent approach, and experience working with children who require emotional and behavioural support.In this role, you'll provide tailored 1:1 support to help the pupil access learning, regulate their emotions, and stay engaged in classroom activities. You'll work closely with the class teacher, SENCo, and external agencies to implement behaviour support strategies and help create a safe, structured learning environment that promotes progress and well-being.The ideal candidate will hold a relevant Level 3 qualification and have previous experience supporting children with social, emotional, or behavioural difficulties in a primary school setting. Training in Team Teach or a similar behaviour management approach is highly desirable.
