You’ll be joining a collaborative and friendly team with strong values and a commitment to nurturing talent. Training and progression are central to its culture – the firm is big on helping people qualify and many of its senior team have risen through the ranks internally.What you’ll be doing:
  • Assisting Fee Earners with a broad range of child care law matters
  • Supporting clients at key stages of their case (including supervised Legal Help meetings and court attendance)
  • Preparing bundles, drafting legal documents, managing diaries and supporting with court forms
  • Managing client communications, file set-up and liaising with counsel and experts
  • Handling Legal Aid applications, billing and case management processes
  • Getting involved with trial prep, case administration and day-to-day team support
What the firm is looking for:
  • Previous experience in a legal setting (ideally care/family law)
  • Strong administrative, drafting and organisational skills
  • A proactive, empathetic and client-focused approach
  • Confidence using MS Office and case management systems
  • A genuine interest in developing a long-term career in childcare law
