This varied role will involve undertaking a range of clinical activities including psychological assessments, treatments and other types of clinical intervention with individual service users, carers, families, groups etc; along with other activities such as staff training; research and development activity, and in particular, support the running of the Personality Disorder pathway.The postholder will need to undertake and meet the requirements of an apprenticeship, leading to the award ofa Masters Clinical Associate in Psychology.We also invite enquiries from qualified CAP's, who have completed their training, to be considered for an 0.80 B6 vacancy.Main duties of the jobOffer assessment and psychological interventions, in particular Structural clinical management (SCM) and Dialectical Behaviour therapy (DBT) informed treatment to clients on the Personality Disorder pathway as well as clients within the wider Psychology service.Involvement in multi-disciplinary (MDT) and the Psychology service to promote excellent and evidenced based care to clients who struggle with severe and enduring mental health difficulties.About usHertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust are one of just five mental health trusts to achieve an overall rating of 'Outstanding' from theCare Quality Commission.Our family of over 4,000 members of staff provide health and social care for people with mental ill health, physical ill health and learning disabilities across Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex and Norfolk, delivering these services within the community and several inpatient settings.   • An honours degree (or equivalent) in Psychology with 2.1 or above
  • OR Successful completion of a BPS accredited postgraduate Psychology conversion programme with 2.1 equivalent or above.
  • OR A 2.2 honours degree (or equivalent) in Psychology with appropriate additional experience (or contextual information) demonstrating academic potential.
  • Eligibility for Graduate Basis for Chartered membership of the British Psychological Society.

  • Further continuing professional development relevant to work in mental health and/or psychological interventions.

  • Paid or voluntary experience relevant to working in health, mental health and/or psychological service settings, including work in community groups.
