A vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Coventry are seeking to appoint a science teacher on a full time basis, in September (subject to a successful trial day!)The school boasts consistently excellent results and has a real community feel to it.If you are compassionate, attentive and have a desire to make real change- then this may be the opportunity for you!Commencing in September 2025, this full time Science teaching role requires applicants to have qualified teacher status, recent positive teaching experience within a UK secondary school and exceptional subject knowledge.Whether you specialise in Biology, Chemistry or Physics, this role is for you!Finer Details:Hours: Full Time (term time only Mon- Fri)Rate of Pay: MPS/UPS (pay to scale)Location: Mainstream secondary school, CV3Start Date: September 2025Job Requirements:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalentRecent success teaching Science in a UK based secondary schoolExcellent school based referencesCompetent subject based knowledge and awareness of the UK national curriculumSpecialise in one of the 3 core science topics- Biology, Chemistry or PhysicsConfident behaviour management techniques and strong classroom presenceAbility to commit to a full time roleEnhanced (child only) DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)You will be expected to plan and deliver a range of science lessons inclusive of individual needs within the class, based upon the national curriculum guidelines.
