Rates: PAYE £31.53/hr + £4.59/hr holiday pay OR Umbrella £43/hrMorson is currently recruiting experienced Manufacturing Engineers to join our aerospace manufacturing client based in Wolverhampton.This is an exciting 12-month contract opportunity to play a key role in New Product Introduction (NPI) projects for a leading aerospace manufacturer.As a Manufacturing Engineer, you'll be responsible for shaping and executing the technical direction of manufacturing systems and processes, ensuring smooth and efficient NPI from concept through to production. This role is ideal for professionals with strong experience in aerospace manufacturing, process design, and technical project delivery.What You’ll Be DoingLead and support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities across manufacturing projects.Serve as the technical interface between design, supply chain, and production teams.Define and execute manufacturing strategies that meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.Implement and continuously improve manufacturing systems, including process simulation, cell layout, takt-time planning, and risk mitigation.Drive technical decision-making across manufacturing engineering work packages.Support the integration of new technologies and contribute to long-term manufacturing roadmaps.Ensure designs are optimised for manufacture (DFM) and aligned with lean manufacturing principles.Essential Skills & ExperienceProven experience in aerospace manufacturing and NPI delivery.Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and ability to interpret engineering drawings.HNC (or equivalent) or Degree in Mechanical, Production, or Manufacturing Engineering.
