- Performing cleaning duties and ensuring care & presentation of all equipment.
- Scheduling through cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms and corridors including all fittings and surfaces to required standards.
- Carrying out all reasonable Guest, VIP and special requests as instructed by your supervisor.
- Ensuring all housekeeping and linen stores are well maintained and cleaned stacked according to the shelf labels.
- Using the appropriate cleaning chemicals on all surfaces as per the Raffles SOPs.
- Taking responsibility for an allocated section within a hotel floor with supervision.
- Reporting technical/ engineering issues found in rooms or public areas in Know cross or to the HSK coordinator as and when encountered.
- Reporting any guest preferences to the housekeeping supervisor/coordinator, and act upon the requests.
- Maintaining effective communication with other colleagues, the floor team & EE team if necessary.
- Carrying out spring cleaning duties as directed by the Junior/Floor Housekeeper.
- Taking ownership of the master key, the duct phone and the computer/tablet enduring you sign items in & out in the housekeeping office.
- To be flexible in your working hours in line with business requirements.
- Follow the lost property procedure.
- Greeting all guest in a professional and polite manner.
- Respecting the guest privacy by being quiet and respectful in the corridors and the service area.
- Maintaining a clean and efficient “5 Star “floor section in-line with Raffles standards/LQA.
- A proven track record and ability to provide high levels of service under pressure.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills, both written and spoken.
- An understanding and willingness to contribute to a 24h operational schedule when required.
- 28 days holiday including bank holidays plus a day extra for every year of your service up to 5 years (35 Days).
