Start Date: September 2025Looking to build a meaningful support career—and make a real difference every day?We’re working with a fantastic school in South Sheffield that supports children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) in a calm, nurturing environment. They’re looking for a compassionate, proactive ASC Learning Support Assistant to provide consistent 1:1 support and help pupils thrive both in and out of the classroom.If you’ve got a steady presence, a caring nature, and a bit of creative flair—you might be just the person they’re looking for.What you’ll be doing:Supporting a child with ASC 1:1, helping build trust, focus, and confidenceEncouraging communication, social interaction, and emotional regulationPromoting positive behaviour through consistency and calm supportAssisting during lessons and unstructured times, using play and creativity to build relationshipsWorking closely with teachers and therapists to deliver tailored support plansWe’d love to hear from you if you:Have recent experience supporting children with autism or related needs OR have transferable skills or personal experienceCan stay calm and grounded under pressureAre full of patience, kindness, and a good sense of humourAre confident using behaviour strategies and proactive in your supportWhat you’ll get from Protocol Education:Competitive PAYE pay—no umbrella surprisesFREE specialist CPD including Autism, Behaviour, and Thrive training.
