We are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to ensure the smooth operation of equipment within the industrial/manufacturing sector. This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving electrical systems at a facility in Manchester.
  • Conduct routine electrical maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults within manufacturing machinery.
  • Implement improvements to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to minimise downtime and improve productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards during all maintenance activities.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance tasks and repairs.
  • Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Participate in preventative maintenance programmes to reduce future issues.
The salary for this role is 50k.The shift pattern is 42hrs per week, mornings and afternoons.A successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer should have:
  • Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills within electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of health and safety protocols relevant to engineering and manufacturing.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
