Role: Fire & Security Surveyor/Design EngineerLocation: MiddlesbroughSalary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annumTechnical Resources are recruiting for a Fire & Security Surveyor / Design Engineer position in Middlesbrough. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting site surveys, designing specifications, developing proposals, and presenting solutions to clients. If you have more experience in either fire or security, training will be provided to expand your expertise, offering excellent opportunities for career growth and professional development.Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site surveys and design fire and security systems
  • Develop detailed proposals and specifications tailored to client requirements
  • Present solutions to clients, ensuring their needs are fully met
  • Collaborate with a fellow team member in a similar role to deliver high-quality designs
  • Support clients in both fire and security systems (training provided for cross-discipline skills)
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and technical accuracy
Experience and Certifications Required:
  • Experience in fire or security surveying/designing (training will be provided for the other discipline)
  • Strong technical knowledge of fire and security systems
  • Ability to produce detailed specifications and proposals
  • Effective communication skills and confidence in client-facing situations
  • Must be within a 30-minute commute of Middlesbrough
