Join our passionate, international team as a Field Service Engineer at Heliox!Your Role:As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and supporting Heliox' cutting-edge products and solutions. You will be responsible for on-site commissioning, testing, and providing technical support for our charging solutions used in electric buses, e-trucks, and other high-utilization transportation systems. Your expertise will also be instrumental in diagnosing and rectifying malfunctions, as well as conducting preventive and corrective maintenance tasks. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to product improvements and provide on-site training to customers.Your Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs, modifications and corrective maintenance on our product line across Europe.
- Generate comprehensive test and service reports.
- Identify and suggest improvements to our products and services.
- Ensure quality control for third-party technical service partners.
- Conduct on-site commissioning activities, including Site Acceptance Testing.
- When not in the field, support 1st line technical support in resolving malfunctions.
- Conduct input/output tests and measurements both online and on-site.
- Deliver on-site training sessions for customers.
- Diagnose and address failures affecting product performance.
- Assist in updating and enhancing service documentation.
- Collaborate with development teams to deploy, test, and provide feedback on new products.
- City & Guilds Level 3 HND/HNC or equivalent.
- Previous experience in commissioning and/or service work.
- Proficiency with electrical installations and PLC systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge or willingness to learn EV Charging protocols.
- Familiarity with CAN communication.
- Knowledge or willingness to obtain local safety regulations.
- Ability to read circuit schematics.
- Knowledge of Linux basic command or willingness to learn.
- Valid driving license.
- Willingness to travel internationally when required.
- Customer-oriented, with a focus on exceeding expectations.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
