Secondary Teacher | MLD School | Chiswick | Full-Time | September Start | Permanent OpportunityAre you a passionate Secondary Teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)?We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive special school in Chiswick. The school provides high-quality education for students with MLD and has a strong reputation for its inclusive, nurturing environment where every learner is supported to succeed.The Role:
  • Teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering a broad and balanced curriculum
  • Planning and adapting lessons to meet the needs of students with MLD
  • Working closely with experienced teaching assistants and the wider SEN team
  • Creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and fostering independence in learners
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience working with students with SEN, ideally MLD
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to adapt teaching to meet individual needs
  • A creative, patient, and resilient teaching approach
  • Commitment to inclusive education and helping learners reach their full potential
