- oGood general education especially in literacy and numeracy to at least GCSE level. oNVQ Level III/B'TEC or equivalent oKnowledge of specific learning difficulties and long term disability and the role of physiotherapy in their management acquired through relevant training and experience
- oCourses for support workers/carers. Other relevant further education e.g. sport, health and social care, specialist education/communication
- oPrevious experience as a physiotherapy / AHP assistant or equivalent role within another sector oExperience in dealing with variety of patients/clients in a variety of settings. oTeam working / MDT participation.
- oWorking within the health /care/leisure setting oExperience of working with adults with a learning disability oExperience of supervising other staff.
- oAbility to work both independently and as part of a team and with / without supervision. oGood verbal, written, interpersonal and IT skills. oPhysically fit and able to manually handle loads including physiotherapeutic handling. oAwareness of own limitations.
- oAbility to speak Welsh

- oAbility to travel within geographical area. oAble to work hours flexibly.
