- Embed Independent Travel Training, ensuring training is considered within transport applications, Individual Development Plan assessments and annual reviews.
- To deliver Independent Travel Training by providing appropriate road safety and bus awareness training and support for clients with special needs.
- Act as an independence champion for children and young people, giving time and expertise to undertake meaningful conversations with children and families, colleagues, and partners to promote the benefits of independent travel training.
- You will have knowledge of independent travel training including road safety.
- You will have a flexible approach to working hours.
- You will have a good sense of humour and be a great communicator, and able to take a person-centred approach to all situations.
You will work with young people to promote independence by providing travel training to individuals to enable/empower them with a specific level of competency resulting in independent travel.
