Mencap is seeking Relief Support Workers to join our incredible team in Redruth.As a Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. A driver is essential for this role.From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you'll play a vital role in their life.You will be supporting one older gentleman in his own home. Daily activities can include, going out for a drive, completing shopping, going for walks, helping the person we support bake at home, or have a relaxing day!What we're looking for:· A genuine passion for supporting others.· Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.· Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.· A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.Contract options:ReliefShift times:Days: Between 07:30/08:30 until 21:30/22:30, Split shifts also available finishing at 16:00, or starting at 16:00All our services are 24hr care.
