This is a great opportunity for an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join a main contractor in the water sector.Our client is looking for a Commissioning Engineer to join them on a major Treatment Works, installing new membranes and filters to a site that treats 90 Megalitres of water a day.This company see their employees as their most important resource and encourage full involvement in order to develop their abilities for the benefit of the individual and company.Package offered for this Commissioning Engineer role:
  • £550-£600 per day based on experience
  • Inside IR35
  • 9 month initial contract with potential to move to other upcoming projects
  • Flexible working (DOE)
Key responsibilities for this Commisioning Engineer role:
  • Planning and Preparation:
Developing detailed commissioning plans, schedules, and test procedures. * Testing and Verification:Executing test procedures, analyzing results, and verifying that systems and equipment are functioning correctly. * Documentation:Creating and maintaining comprehensive commissioning documentation, including test reports, procedures, and as-built records. * On-site Coordination:Supervising and coordinating on-site activities, ensuring that work is carried out safely and efficiently. * Problem Solving:Investigating and diagnosing problems, and implementing solutions to ensure systems operate as intended. * Client Liaison:Communicating with clients and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are managed. * Training:Providing training to client personnel on the operation and maintenance of systems and equipment. * Safety:Ensuring that all commissioning activities are carried out safely and in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.Experience required for this Commissioning Engineer role:
  • CSCS Card and in date
  • SMSTS Card and in date
  • Clean Water experience
  • Membranes/Filter Plants knowledge
