To carry out maintenance, repair works, installation and minor improvements. Duties will be carried out at The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust and any property or premises associated with The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust.Main duties of the jobTo provide an efficient and cost-effective maintenance and repair service.Undertake appointed Competent Person (CP) roles after appointment by the trusts Authorised Person (AP) as required and in accordance with HTM's for which additional training will be provided.Responsible for ensuring timely completion of PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive works documentation/ recording requirements by use of electronic handheld devicesCarry out installation and improvement work across all contracted sites in accordance with organisational standards and national legislation.About usThe Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest specialist orthopaedic units in Europe.
